ByClick Downloader is a tool designed to help you grab media from various websites, including, but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Instagram, Twitter, so on and so forth.

The application comes with a rather rugged interface that seems to cram everything in a medium-size window. On the first launch, you get a quick link to the most common video sharing websites, but this option is no longer available the other times you open it. Nevertheless, it comes with a help section and once you learn the ropes, it is quite simple and straightforward to use.
You can get started by copying the link of the multimedia you want to download from one of the many supported sites. The app auto-detects it and enables you to choose whether you prefer to grab it as audio only or video.
Allows you to perform searches directly in the GUI
A noteworthy feature of the tool is that it comes with a search function that allows you to perform a quick query and find a video on the topic that interests you. In fact, you can download entire playlists with just one click.
The search option solely works for YouTube, a setback that may not be convenient for users who enjoy media from other sharing platforms. At the same time, the search results are not exactly numerous and it is not exactly clear how the selection of the videos is made.
Supports numerous formats including HD and 4K quality
Even though it may not seem intuitive, you can change the format of the files you are about to download by clicking on the drop down menu from the Choose Format menu. You can select various audio formats, such as MP3, AAC and WAV. ByClick Downloader also enables the download of video formats, including here MKV, AVI, 3GP, Webm or Mp4.
