Dave Turin spent years working alongside Todd Hoffman and earned the nickname "Dozer Dave" after spending countless hours bulldozing in the quest for gold. After his departure from GOLD RUSH, people around the country started reaching out to Dave, asking for his help resurrecting their failing mines. Now, Dave is planning a spectacular return to gold mining, as he searches for a lost and abandoned mine to resurrect, and chase the gold the old-timers left behind. Using his expertise, and the backing of financiers, Dave is on a mission to become his own mine boss and make his fortune

Pressure mounts on Jason to locate legendary "main channel" gold, following the team's first big gold weigh. But just as the operation begins firing on all cylinders, Dave faces devastating family news.

With Dave home for his father's memorial, Team Turin makes a promise to hit it big in his honor. But with the Bank Cut running out, Jason must think outside the box to find new ground and keep them on the gold.

Team foreman Jason takes a huge gamble by opening a new cut. But when the team is besieged by mishaps, Dave returns to find the team in disarray and fights to prove the Vault Cut is a risk willing to take.

As the mid-summer Colorado heat bears down on the team, Jesse heads to Montana to salvage parts from the old washplant and Dave struggles to keep the operation together for another major gold haul.

Dave calls in Freddy Dodge and Juan Ibarra to troubleshoot a faulty hopper. With the Vault Cut running low, a local old-timer points Dave to new gold-rich ground the old doodlebug dredge missed.
Season 3 - Episode 7 - Good Man Down
To help boost production, Dave gives gold room operator Jesse Goins the opportunity he's been waiting for, to become a first-time rock truck driver. But all work stops when the crew faces a sudden and unimaginable tragedy.
Season 3 - Episode 8 - Forged in Fire
After the devastating loss of teammate Jesse Goins, the crew struggles to mine with one man down. When Dave comes under fire from the team about the lack of access to the gold-rich Hummocks, he heads off for a do or die showdown with the local community.
