Synopsis
Dave Turin spent years working alongside Todd Hoffman and earned the nickname "Dozer Dave" after spending countless hours bulldozing in the quest for gold. After his departure from GOLD RUSH, people around the country started reaching out to Dave, asking for his help resurrecting their failing mines. Now, Dave is planning a spectacular return to gold mining, as he searches for a lost and abandoned mine to resurrect, and chase the gold the old-timers left behind. Using his expertise, and the backing of financiers, Dave is on a mission to become his own mine boss and make his fortune
Season 4 - Episode 9 - Fight and Flight
Team Turin prepares to fire up The Eagle for the first time, when Casey receives shocking news from home. With their 600-ounce season goal in the balance, the team must double up and push forward as a skeleton crew.
Season 4 - Episode 10 - Clash of the Cuts
Tensions mount when Dave and Jason clash on strategies to stay on the gold. And problems with the new wash plant put Chris in a vulnerable position.
Season 4 - Episode 11 - Crisis at the Creek
With the team struggling, Dave's business partner arrives on the claim to observe the operation. But his presence creates tension when he identifies one of the miners as the weak link.
Season 4 - Episode 12 - Shadow of Denali
With winter closing in fast, Dave and Lance hedge their bet with a prospect in a historical mining district in the foothills of Mt. Denali. Back on the claim, the team faces obstacles from mother nature and machine, but break a long-time team gold record.
Season 4 - Episode 13 - On the Gold Again
Dave tests positive for COVID and entrusts team mechanic Nathan with a solo prospect deep into the Alaskan wilderness. Back in Valdez, equipment breakdowns force greenhorn Andrew to step up and save the team's gold.
Season 4 - Episode 14 - Cowboys and Dreamers
Dave gets the call from Rob Towner for a once-in-a-lifetime prospect at Gravely Ranch, Montana where he uncovers the best gold-bearing ground he's ever seen in the lower 48. But to mine it, he must earn the trust of a ranching family wary of miners.
Season 4 - Episode 15 - Risky Business
Back in Alaska, Dave's risky move with the washplant proves disastrous. Then, with the big final push to close out the season about to begin, one crew member contemplates moving on early.
Season 4 - Episode 16 - Fortune Favors the Bold
In the epic season finale, an approaching snowstorm threatens to shut Team Turin down, but the miners face down snow, ice and deadly conditions in an effort to best their gold goal.
