In the last decade, two million Americans have attempted to leave behind civilization in favor of life off-the-grid - but most have failed. For the hundreds of families who decide to become homesteaders, the learning curve is a steep one. Now comes "Homestead Rescue". Struggling homesteaders across the country are turning expert homesteader Marty Raney-along with his daughter Misty Raney, a farmer, and son Matt Raney, a hunter and fisherman-to teach them the necessary skills to survive the wilderness. The stakes are high, but the Raney family is determined to prepare these families for nature's worst and set them up for success. Each family faces the ultimate decision: will they tough out their first year or pack up and return to civilization?

I am only releasing these in standard definition to keep the season packs to a reasonable size, and it's easier for me to keep them on permanent share.

Season 2

Episode 1 Wolves at the Door

The Raneys help the Johnson family who have no drinking water or food sources; their dogs have been killed by a mystery predator and worry they are next.

Episode 2 Honey I Torched the Homestead

The Raneys assist an Oregon homestead where fire is a constant threat and livestock are family pets instead of meat.

Episode 3 Trapped

An isolated road becomes a death trap when a medical emergency strikes a secluded homestead. The Raneys face their first ever failed rescue.

Episode 4 Homestead of Horrors

A couple terrified to hunt and a ramshackle home with exposed wires in the shower and chickens in the living room.

Episode 5 Grizzly Bait

Arctic temperatures and a hungry grizzly wreak havoc on a struggling homestead; the Ranys pursue huge builds, including a blacksmith shop.

Special Off Grid: The Raney Way

In this special episode, the Raneys hang out in a cabin, answer some viewer questions and tell the story of Marty and Matt's epic adventure.
