Irish artist Rory Gallagher inspired countless people to pick up Stratocaster guitars. In 1972 Gallagher was crowned Melody Maker's Guitarist/Musician of the Year, this Radio Suisse broadcast highlights the legends talents and virtuosic display which led him to receive such accolades and admiration.
